A young boy was failing math at school. His parents tried to help him with it but it did not help his grades. They hired a tutor to work with him and the tutor did not help him. They finally pulled him out of the public schools and enrolled him in a Catholic school.
After the first day of school the boy seemed a lot more focused on his math and his other subjects. He would go to school every morning on time and with a serious and determined look on his face. When he came home in the evening, he would walk past them straight to his room and begin doing his homework and studying his lesson until it was bedtime.
He continued doing this method of schooling and in six weeks he got his report card. His parents almost had a heart attact when they looked at his report card and he had straight A's on his report card but on math he had an A+. They told him, "Son, we are so proud of what you have done on your report card, especially, on math." "How in the world did your grades get so much better? "Was it the special tutoring we had done for you?" "Was it the new textbooks," "the new teachers," or "What happened to improve your grades so?" The boy said, "No. On the first day at the new school, I walked in the front door and saw that guy nailed to the cross, I knew these people were very serious about people getting very good grades."
